[EVENT TIME CHANGED] Meet the Candidate Event

*EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO ILLNESS. NEW DATE RELEASED BY 3/14/2026

Feb 18

My name is Jeffrey Milk. I am an official candidate running for Ward 4, here in Ann Arbor. I am one of four candidates who have announced they will run, and one of three who has pulled petitions to run in Ward 4.

My campaign is about changing the culture of politics while uplifting our home. We don’t deserve to be flooded with money - the average City Council campaign takes between $40,000 and $50,000 - I pledge to not collect more than $1,000.

I challenge my opponents to leave money in the hands of the community. I challenge them to use only use public transit during their campaign, like me. We don’t deserve leaders who would campaign on services they’d never be caught using - when they expect us to. To read more about my pledges, please read my official campaign launch statement.

In this meet-the-candidate event, I will be giving a short talk on my policies, ideology, and who I am. Afterwards, I will open the floor for questions and comments. Some things that will be discussed are the CLUP, public transportation and services, public safety and rights, and political culture in Ann Arbor. Please contact me if you need accommodations, such as zoom or a virtual format, to attend this meeting. I will do my best to assist you.

I will be hosting an Ask-Me-Anything presentation on March 7th, at the Ann Arbor Downtown District Library, from 4:00PM - 6:00PM. 3rd Floor, Community Room 1.
(343 S 5th Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104)

This election, we have hope for a brighter future. We can do this, together.
